The State of the Art... Our Fuji Frontier Digital Printer is based on the principle of using lasers to expose traditional silver-halide based photographic paper. In a traditional lab setup, light is passed through a negative and focused by a lens onto sensitized paper. The Frontier uses 3 solid state lasers to expose the paper instead. After the paper is exposed, it is processed in traditional color print chemicals to yield a very stable, long lasting print. Since the Frontier processes every image digitally, computer software onboard the system is used to maximize the clarity, sharpness and color balance of every print made. The system also gives us much greater flexibility in correcting your image's color, contrast, sharpness and cropping than ever before. When you see a Frontier print for the first time, you will see how much sharper and brighter your pictures can be. |
